Adeline Lim loves to travel, and Anne Lister makes travel even more interesting and exciting. Her debut book, In the Footsteps of Anne Lister (Volume 1)  tracks Anne from when she left home, Shibden Hall, in June 1833 until her return in December the same year.

Adeline started trailing Anne Lister's 1833 journey in July 2019 from Trier to Copenhagen and then to Cuxhaven and have since visited other locations Anne journeyed through in 1833 and other itineraries spanning 1813 to 1839.

Volume 2 of In the Footsteps of Anne Lister was the result of an inexplicable desire and a dogged determination to see and experience Anne's 1827 and 1829 travels throughout Europe.

Adeline follows in Anne Lister's footsteps whenever and wherever she can. Armed with Anne's diary or travel journal transcriptions, she seeks out obscure places or artefacts Anne saw nearly 200 years ago.
